True Power From Nature

The long trip, steep and devious road, and the uncertain condition of climate. It challenges us as we go in a cycling adventure. The mysterious situation in the nature requires us to be fully ready at all kinds of field. Even so, the nature also provides us with some nutritions so that we are more durable during our journey. Some nutritions come from fruits and vegetables that we consume on daily basis, like coconut, banana, and sweet potato.

One of the nutritions that we need is Potassium. Potassium in Banana helps us cycling throughout the day, because Potassium restore the electrolytes that our body has lost as we were doing exercise through cycling. The energies in the banana can replace the one contained in the drinks or energy bar.

As one of the source of Carbohydrates, the sweet potato usually consumed after doing some exercise. Besides carbohydrates, sweet potato also provides many kinds of minerals, such as vitamin c, beta-carotene, and fiber that helps the process of digesting the nutritions. Sweet potato doesn’t cause allergies, so anyone can enjoy this meal whether on a break or after the venture.

Even though it is classified as fat, coconut oil contains some fat that is easily digested and turned into energy. Consuming coconut oil raises the metabolism inside our body, so that our body can produce more energy to increase the stamina while cycling. The improvement of our metabolism makes the recovery process of our body way faster. It really helps when we’re involved in an accident while cycling that causes the bruises in our body. The coconut oil causes the bruises to be easier to recover.
